This position is responsible for the design and development of embedded platform software to support the deployment of IPTV hardware in a carrier-grade, Telco environment. This engineer will work as a member of a platform development team operating in an embedded Linux environment running on an ATCA chassis.

Responsibilities:

Perform testing for BigBand Network's IPTV solution.

Develop Test Strategies that focus on the high level approach to testing major new features.

Develop and Execute detailed test procedures from both a black box and white box perspective.  These tests include:

MPEG Video Analysis Testing

System Data Flow Testing

Scalability and Performance Testing

Stress and Long Run (Soak) Testing

Network Protocol Related testing

Design and implement complex test beds and network topologies.

Work with development to analyze system logs in order to drive problems to closure.

Develop automation for IPTV products.  

Requirements:

5-7 years minimum SQA Testing experience involving complex embedded distributed systems a must.

BSCS, BSEE or BSCE preferred.

Experience in testing networking applications (Layer 3) in a complex embedded system a must.

Experience in writing automation (PERL, Tcl/Expect).

Experience of MPEG and IPTV preferred.

Experience in the use of MPEG analyzers such as the Acterna DTS/IneoQuest, etc. preferred.

Experience using IP Analyzers such as IXIA, Etherpeek, Ethereal, etc. preferred.

Working knowledge of UNIX/LINUX required.

We are looking for a Marketing Operations Manager to lead the introduction of new products into the BigBand product portfolio. This is a hands-on position with a lot of “roll up the sleeves and get it done” type of work.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for leading new product introduction effort involving product management, product marketing, operations, customer support, and sales.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for designing and delivering BigBand’s IT solutions that are optimially designed, leverage the most appropiate technology and continuosly satisfy business requirements.  Role will be responsible for:

Requirements:

Previous experience with the following types of development:

·        Enhancing  3rd party applications such as Oracle eBusiness, Remedy and Interwoven
