BigBand Discusses Migration To Converged Video Delivery At Supercomm and Digital Hollywood Conferences

BigBand Networks, Inc. will discuss the migration path to reliable and efficient converged video delivery at two upcoming conferences, including the ATIS Technology Conference at SUPERCOMM, October 21-22, 2009, in Chicago, IL, and the Digital Hollywood Fall Summit, October 19-22, 2009, in Santa Monica, CA.

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., Oct.15, 2009— BigBand Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: BBND), a leader in digital video networking, will discuss the migration path to reliable and efficient converged video delivery at two upcoming conferences, including the ATIS Technology Conference at SUPERCOMM, October 21-22, 2009, in Chicago, IL, and the Digital Hollywood Fall Summit, October 19-22, 2009, in Santa Monica, CA.

John Holobinko, BigBand’s vice president of marketing, will share his expertise on ubiquitous content delivery and its impact on IPTV offerings on the panel, Consolidating Content in an IPTV World, on October 22nd at 2:00 p.m. at the ATIS Technology Conference at SUPERCOMM. Mr. Holobinko will look at how converged and high quality video delivery plays in traditional and next generation service provider video offerings. He will outline how service providers today are leveraging existing platforms to enable rapid scaling of services for a graceful migration path to the next generation IP network.

Yaron Raz, Director of Video Solutions Marketing for BigBand, will participate in a panel discussion about the changing TV viewing experience on the session, Television and Broadband: Technology and Content that Bridge the Digital Consumer Experience, on October 21st at 3:50 p.m. at the Digital Hollywood Fall summit. Mr. Raz will explore the ways consumers use and access content and programming as the barriers between traditional and next generation networks break down. He will share key considerations that content and service providers should weigh in the move from broadcast to unicast video delivery and in monetizing personalized TV with addressable advertising technology.
