BigBand Networks Names Susan George Regional Vice President Of Cable Sales

Veteran executive brings wealth of strategic sales experience to video networking innovator

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., July 28, 2008—BigBand Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: BBND), a leading innovator in video networking, today announced that it has appointed Susan George as regional vice president of cable sales. Ms. George will focus on Comcast, Cablevision, Cox and other cable accounts. She reports to David Heard, chief operating officer.

Ms. George brings extensive experience as a sales executive to BigBand. She spent more than 13 years working in management positions at companies such as Camiant, SeaChange International and Digital Media Studios. Throughout her career she has been instrumental in leading sales efforts through periods of rapid growth. Ms. George holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Regis College.
