BigBand Networks Appoints Jeff Lindholm Senior Vice President Of Worldwide Field Operations

REDWOOD CITY, Calif.,– Nov. 15, 2006 – BigBand Networks, Inc., a leading provider of broadband multimedia infrastructure for video, voice and data, announced it has appointed Jeff Lindholm as senior vice president of worldwide field operations. Mr. Lindholm will oversee all aspects of the BigBand’s worldwide sales and customer service efforts in his new role, and report to CEO Amir Bassan-Eskenazi. Lindholm joins BigBand from Juniper Networks, where he served as vice president of worldwide sales, and most recently as chief marketing officer.
“Jeff Lindholm has spent the last twenty years scaling sales and field operations organizations to support some of the largest communications service providers in the world,” said Mr. Bassan-Eskenazi. “Jeff is ideally suited to scale BigBand’s sales and customer service organizations to support the company’s growth into new markets, and we’re thrilled to bring him on board.”
Mr. Lindholm joins BigBand in a period of increasing customer activity. More than 100 service providers, collectively serving more than 50 million subscribers, use BigBand’s solutions to optimize and deliver video, voice and data services.

Mr. Lindholm joined Juniper as vice president of worldwide sales in 2002 as part of the company’s acquisition of Unisphere Networks, where he served as vice president of worldwide sales and support. Prior to Unisphere Networks, he held executive or senior-level sales and marketing positions at Redstone Communications, Bay Networks (now Nortel Networks), New Oak Communications, Motorola and Wellfleet Communications. He holds a B.S. in Marketing from Boston College School of Management.
